Qualifications/Specialism: As an ex-International Sprint and Marathon canoeist with a total of 26 national titles, I have a huge interest in sports injuries and their rehabilitation. After training at the highly prestigious sports therapy school in Holland, I relocated to the UK where I qualified as a Sports Rehab specialist. I have been working at Physio&Therapy since 2007.

In the past I have worked with several rugby teams, the Dutch kayak team, and I try to help out wherever possible with local athletes.

I firmly believe that Sports Rehabilitation is a great combination between the assessment and diagnostic skills of the physiotherapist, and the athletic trainer's open mindedness and ability to retrain injured athletes.

Sports/Interests: I have been cycling for as long as I can remember, and am currently training for the 2011 Ironman UK. Outside of my training, I enjoy watching sports, cooking and reading.
