Our Staff - Teddington Sweatshop
Amy Lunn
Qualification/specialism: I have recently graduated from London Metropolitan University with an MSc in Sports Therapy, covering everything from injury rehabilitation and sports massage to mobilisation and injury prevention. Previously I graduated from Brunel University with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and I am a member of the Society of Sport Therapists.
Having spent over six years coaching athletes in track and field, my key strengths lie with runners and track athletes. Each injury is different and I like to ensure my treatment is tailored to the needs of the individual.
Sports/Interests: Having competed at show jumping and cross-country for the past 14 years, I love horse riding and also have a passion for skiing. Previously I trained as a 100m runner and competed for local clubs and in the British University Championships. I now enjoy coaching sprinters and work for UK Athletics as a tutor helping new coaches to develop their skills. I love to play most sports and do have a competitive streak!
I enjoy socialising with friends and have a passion for travel. Keeping fit through running and attending gym classes are other favourite pastimes. To ensure continued development of my techniques and knowledge as a sports therapist, I try to spend time with other sporting professionals.
